How safe is the clean + easy Waxing Spa Hair Removal System?

American International Industries (manufacturer of clean + easy) carried out a cross contamination test to support the fact that clean + easy roll on waxing system is a safe and sanitary epilation system.

These were the findings:
The clean + easy roller application system is designed as an application system only. Once the product is dispensed from the roller head onto the skin, the roller head does not pick up product and transfer it back into the cartridge. This is proven by four blind test sam ples submitted by AII to BioScreen Testing Service Inc of Torrance , California , consisting of wax applicator cartridges with the roller heads still attached. The lab received the samples labeled A, B, C & D with instructions to test the roller heads and cartridges for the detection of microorganisms (i.e. hair, skin, body fluids etc).

A & C samples were taken under recommended usage conditions; B & D sam ples were submitted without sanitization or cleansing.

BioScreen Testing Service performed testing of the roller heads and the applicator cartridges for the detection of microorganisms. In all four sam ples, no organisms were isolated. The roller heads and the cartridges were clean. No hair, skin or body fluids, nothing was detected by their lab tests.

The independent lab analysis demonstrates; cross contamination does not take place with the clean + easy waxing spa roll on application system. All roller heads and cartridges where free of microorganisms, under recommended cleaning and disinfection procedures and when there procedures were not followed.

The results of the analysis demonstrate: that the clean + easy wax anti-microbial agents are effective against product contamination from microorganisms. The attempts to contaminate the wax were unsuccessful and therefore, support the effectiveness of parabens to prevent contamination of the wax formulas.
